Cora's Cause: This page will be the future location of pictures, videos, blogs and writings dedicated to this Coretta "Cora" Thilda May Mitchell, the conductor/founder's daughter who died suddenly at age 8 on November 15, 2023 while in London, UK. Cora, born with a mild but manageable heart condition, was the inspiration for the founding of this nonprofit and one of its most enthusiastic supporters. She often spoke of her time with the children in Mexico and how much she loved singing with her dad. Cora loved music and was a huge fan of Taylor Swift and also a big fan of Harry Styles. She had an outsized impact on everyone who knew her and left a legacy of love with her infectious enthusiasm for life and for everyone around her. She regularly organized activities, such as writing and rehearsing skits with groups of friends, and as her principal said: "And that smile. It got to every one of us." She is so deeply, deeply missed by her family.
